Jason Michaels went yard and had 2 RBI at the ballpark as the Dublin
Pubcrawlers beat the Columbus Crowd by the count of 4 to 3.
The game was won by Dublin with a run in the bottom of the 8th inning. David
Eckstein stroked a single. After an out was recorded, Trot Nixon stepped in
and he doubled. Corey Koskie then drew a walk. Matt Lawton was up next and
he doubled scoring the run. Dublin took care of Columbus with no trouble in
the 9th.
Rheal Cormier(6-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. John
Smoltz earned the save, his 17th. John Parrish(6-3) was tagged with the loss
in relief.
